What's in the box: 1 x 10kg plastic bucket of Dermoclor bleach powder
HOW TO USE:
Dose 2 to 8 grams per kilo of dry clothes at temperatures between 40 and 60ºC during the bleaching phase.
In order to obtain a good performance of the Dermoclor and minimal deterioration of the clothes, the temperature of the washing solution should be kept between 40 and 60ºC and the pH above 10.
At pH less than 9.5 there is a higher concentration of hypochlorous acid, which is much more aggressive than hypochlorite and could cause excessive wear and tear on clothing.
At a pH of 10.5 bleaching should be carried out at 50-55ºC.
Do not use on garments with chlorhexidine stains. Hypochlorite reacts with chlorhexidine causing brown spots that cannot be removed with any subsequent treatment.
Avoid contact of Dermochlor with products containing enzymes in the washing solution, as they would be inactivated by chlorine.
Ensure good neutralization after the bleaching is finished. An incomplete neutralization would yellow and deteriorate the clothes when drying at high temperatures.
Dermoclor contains dichloroisocyanurates and alkaline salts that reduce bad odours. Check that the product dissolves properly, as undissolved isocyanurate particles can cause minor damage.
Do not use on nylon garments.
